An ambition launched in 2019
BMCI made digitalisation a major pillar of its five-year plan adopted in 2019. A multidisciplinary team worked for nearly a year to design and launch Masrvi.
Since 2019, BMCI has been implementing its five-year strategic plan, which brings together a set of strategic priorities identified to meet its customers’ needs and support developments in the banking and financial market. Digitalisation was identified as one of the major priorities of our strategic plan.
MASRVI, our digital banking product, is the result of that strategic choice. A multidisciplinary team has been working tirelessly for almost a year to bring this product into being.
The MASRVI by BMCI application is available on the App Store and Google Play to anyone with a mobile phone, regardless of their mobile operator.
By downloading the application, customers can open their free account remotely and access a range of banking services that are easy to use, secure and useful in everyday life.
Wherever you are—at home, at work or elsewhere—MASRVI lets you carry out everyday transactions from your phone, such as bank transfers, sending money, paying bills and topping up your airtime.
With a network of more than 50 service points supported by our branch network, you can easily deposit and withdraw money from your MASRVI account.
MASRVI also has a large network of partner businesses where you can pay for your purchases simply and securely from your phone.
BMCI maintains its leading position in the Mauritanian banking market. It is the leading bank in terms of total assets, number of customers and total deposits, and also has the largest network of bank branches across the country: 47 branches and 48 ATMs.
The first Mauritanian bank to obtain ISO 9001:2000 certification in February 2002, BMCI moved to the ISO 9001:2015 version in July 2018.
We owe our leading position to our ability to anticipate and innovate, staying as close as possible to our customers and responding to their expectations.
